About ECG Test

An Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is a simple, painless test that records the electrical signals produced by your heart. Small electrode patches are attached to your chest, arms, and legs, and the electrical activity is recorded as waves on a graph.

ECG is used to detect heart conditions including irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia), heart attacks, coronary artery disease, enlarged heart, and other cardiac abnormalities. It is often part of routine health checkups and pre-operative assessments.
